Sacred Chow

  • Eclectic/Global
  • Health Food

Sacred Chow puts a huge emphasis on chesed (loving-kindness) and we do this through our food by being sure that no animal is harmed in the process of making any of our meals, as well as being made with vegan, organic, and kosher ingredients, oh, and of course, with love! Most of our menu is made up of tapas, so that every person who comes into Sacred Chow can mix and match to make their perfect entree. Each day we have specials which include several tapas, soups, desserts, and more, so that each time you come the experience will offer a variety of different options on top of our regular menu. We also offer a large selection of gluten-free, soy free, and sugar free options, so come on in and give some things a try!

Seitan Sandwich

My friend chose the black olive seitan sandwich: over soy buttermilk biscuits and steamed collard greens, drenched in a coconut bechamel; served with a side salad. The waitress cordially subbed home fries for the salad and she enjoyed everything. I'm not a fan of biscuits and gravy, but I'll take her word for it that every element was delicious; she especially enjoyed the bechamel.

Tempeh Reubens

The tempeh reubens are amazing. Available on a roll or gluten free tortilla, they’re stacked with delicious tender tempeh, sauerkraut and house-made ginger-y Russian dressing. This is a great option for someone interested in eating vegan/vegetarian.
